When to modify or stop

Modify or stop if movement causes sharp or severe pain, unusual pins and needles, numbness, weakness, loss of coordination, dizziness, faintness, chest pain, severe breathlessness or symptoms that are worsening.

When to seek care

Seek appropriate professional or urgent care for significant trauma, suspected fracture, new neurological symptoms, bowel or bladder changes, saddle numbness, chest pain, fainting, unexplained swelling, fever or other severe or concerning symptoms.
